There is no dearth of Hard Rock bands in the country at present. And the level of competition in the genre is definitely very high. And it takes a lot of talent and genuineness to stand out among the crowd and make a mark or set a trend. WHAT GOOGLE CAN'T FIND is definitely on track to make it big in this scene, judging by their debut E.P titled STIGMA.

If you are someone who misses the good old days of Rock n Roll music, then maybe this album is the best company you can have at the moment. TUNES FROM THE BIG BELLY by The SHAKEY RAYS, a four piece Chennai based outfit brings back the golden days of Rock N Roll music through their impressive Original music. It is highly recommended to those who have an ear for experimentation and also who are fans of the music of the 60s and 70s.

SWARA SUTRA's debut 3-song EP, INDULGENCE, is meant for any listener looking for some nice independent Instrumental music. A solo project of an engineering student, Sriram Ved, SWARA SUTRA believes in the freedom of painting music on an empty canvas. And with this belief, SWARA SUTRA juxtaposes different elements of music and creates a very unique sound, which is brought out in this wonderful offering from Sriram Ved and Anshul Karn, INDULGENCE.

MENWHOPAUSE is a Delhi based five member outfit that was formed in 2001 by Anup Kutty, who also happens to be the former editor of the Indian edition of an International Men's Magazine. SlowDownClownSayNothingReview
If you are looking for an album that would calm you down after a hectic day, given that you have an ear for soft country music, SLOW DOWN CLOWN should feature in your playlist. Vitek Goyel's group from Mumbai, is a very compact and nice one in the indian independent music scene. SAY NOTHING is an EP that has the capacity to take the band to a great height. Not many bands in the country at the moment do the kind of music that SLOW DOWN CLOWN does, and does so well.

MrigyaWorldHarmonyReview
If you had ever thought about Fusion music losing track nowadays, with so many bands mushrooming out of nowhere, claiming to be flagbearers of Fusion music, you are recommended to give a listen to this musical masterpiece from MRIGYA, a premier and prodigious six-piece Fusion band from Delhi. What they bring out in their debut album, THE COMPOSITION OF WORLD HARMONY, is genuine expertise over the various aspects of Hindustani Classical and Sufi music, blended with the abstractness of Jazz and Blues, Latin, Rock etc.

ElektrokoreEPReview
ELEKTROKORE hails from Guwahati, falling under the North-East zone, an area almost mythical in the world of Rock music, for being home to many underground Rock bands, heavily talented. This Industrial/Avant-Garde Rock group proves to the rest of India and also to the world, why exactly bands from the North East are seen with an eye of respect, through their self titled EP.

AdvaitaGroundedInSpaceReview
ADVAITA is an eclectic fusion band from New Delhi, that was formed in 2004, maybe just to give Indian music a whole new twist altogether. Presenting to everyone a wonderful mixture of east-meets-west music studded with heavy elements of Jazz and Blues, Indian Classical music and really soothing vocals, ADVAITA is a talented bunch of eight individuals, which has carved its place in our hearts.

RaghuDixitReview
Raghu Dixit Project, an initiative of one of the most talented musicians India is seeing at the present, is one of the best bands India has churned out in the recent past. Making music that will definitely rouse one's soul through its ethnicity, dream-inciting lyrics, its rawness and simplicity, Raghu Dixit is surely doing his part in keeping the flag of Indian Rock  flying high. Clad in ethnic wear, specifically lungis, their dynamic onstage presence trebled with their onstage jamming, blend of blues into their Folk-inspired-Rock Music, and Raghu Dixit's inimitable vocals, this gem of a band has a long way ahead of them to march along, leading a new young generation of listeners to a new India, where we expect more such kind of music, rooted to the soil of the nation, defying physical boundaries.
