Unseen Underground was started to encourage the Indian upcoming rock bands by providing them a platform to showcase their talents.

After the great success of Unseen Underground Pub Fests last year & Ragnarok'09 , Unseen Underground is planning to organise 40 pub shows in the financial year 2010-11 and going to include Delhi, Bangalore , Hyderabad , Kolkata & Guwahati also.

The following bands that are going to perform in Unseen Underground Pub Fest - VI which is held on 2nd May 2010.

Franks Got The Funk (Chennai), Spitfire (Bangalore), Escher’s Knot (Chennai) & Blind Image (Chennai).

Apart from this they have a plan to have shows throughout the year are as follows: 

Delhi: 6 shows (Bimonthly starting from May 2010)

Bangalore: 6 shows (Bimonthly starting from June 2010)

Hyderabad: 6 shows (Bimonthly starting from June 2010)

Kolkata: 6 shows (Bimonthly starting from May 2010)

Guwahati: 6 shows (Bimonthly starting from June 2010)

Chennai: 10 shows (Monthly starting from May2010).

The most awaited award event of the year for every band is out.This time for Avima 2010 the Indian bands that made entry are Motherjane,junkyard grove,Demonic resurrection,Prayag,The Summerpint Junkie,The Bicycle days,Sanjeev T and Rainbow Bridge.

IMR: So Starting off tell us about how Slain started off...give us a history lesson..
         How did you guys meet..the band members???
Naresh: After his 2nd PU results, Judah knew he was destined to a life of music. He started this affair with his energetic brother Freddy(whom plays the drums). They both practically had music in their blood, and having lived under the same roof for so many years they could read each others minds! I had played bass for a metal band in college and soon after we stopped performing, I heard Judah was starting this initiative and needed a bass player. We just met up and things clicked, we started jamming and composing material soon after.

Irfan Rizvi a professional musician based in Canada / Islamabad, Pk relasing his solo Album 'Beqarar'.To start with the introduction of the composer; Irfan Rizvi playing guitar for over 12 years and played for various bands in Islamabad.

Naktala Metal Pally (or simply NMP) is an organization of bands in Kolkata (West Bengal) aimed at providing a stage and promoting indie bands in the state through various concepts. Naktala Metal Pally was formed in the year 2007 and has since then organized many concerts in Kolkata with a huge response from the targeted audience. The organization majorly promotes underground music to/from the state of West Bengal through various concerts. Recently the organization has been shaped up in a more dynamic manner and avenues like establishing an indie record label, social activities have been created.

As we all of us know that "Leaving Home" a documentry film based on India's most famous band Indian Ocean.Starting with the details of the film;Leaving Home - The Life and Music of Indian Ocean’ is a first of its kind feature film to get a theatrical release in India.The movie is directed by filmmaker Jaideep Varma talks about the fusion rock band member’s trial and tribulation, struggle and survival.

After nearly a month of negotiations, Banglore-based events' company, Overture India, has managed to get down Grammy-nominated American heavy metal band, Lamb Of God, to headline an event called `Summer Storm' in Bangalore, on May 15.
