Vrangsinn is known for his guitar and bass playing and his bizarre stage stunts while performing with Norwegian Black Metal band CARPATHIAN FOREST. He was named Daniel Salte at birth but he legally changed his name to Daniel Vrangsinn Salte in 2003. He is the person behind the SECHT- True Narcotic Black Metal musical experiment. He is also gaining fame as the founder of "The Misantrof Music Industry Experiment"- MISANTROF ANTIRECORDS- a non-profit record label established January 2007. He also creates artforms other than music. He creates graphics artwork in the form of t-shirts motives and/or CD booklets, he creates his own stage clothing, jewellery, steel crosses and pentagrams.
