American Nu-Metal pioneers, KORN, is back but how? Their latest offering, THE PATH OF TOTALITY is a path definer in its own right. Right from the first track, listeners get a feel of what is in store in this piece of sheer experimental brilliance.
CHTHONIC play a style of Black Metal that infuses hints of Death Metal, Folklore etc. But recently they have shifted to a newer and more friendly genre called Oriental Metal, which was portrayed nicely in their MIRROR OF RETRIBUTION album, released in 2009.
This is the second output from the Belarussian, one man band called VIETAH. SMALISTY ZAH picked up from where the last album ZORNY MAROZ left off. A beautifully composed album,with good production. Overall a nice WIN!

As a listener, I always wanted and imagined music breaking the barriers of genre – how bands would one day come up with music that is just impossible to classify into a particular genre. Something that music lovers could just absorb, and find something new to savor with every listen, relate to their own taste.
STERBEND is a five-piece band from Greven, Germany, formed in the year 2000. They consist of band members from KRIEG and NYKTALGIA. After a long wait, STERBEND released their debut full length album in 2006, with 10 tracks which lasts under 75-minutes long. The name “sterbend” means "dying" in German, which is a name aptly chosen for a Depressive Suicidal Black Metal band. Their debut album DWELLING LIFELESS might be an interesting album for the Suicidal/Depressive Black Metal fans.
