About Pangea:
PANGEA is a Ambient/Drone/Experimental Metal outfit from Mumbai, Maharashtra. PANGEA first started as ORION J9 FOUNDATION
which was the studio project started by Akshay. The reason ORION J9 FOUNDATION was made because Akshay could make music which
he loved apart from what he was playing with SCRIBE and SKINCOLD, however was not possible live. ORION J9 FOUNDATION was
basically an Alternative Rock/Experimental project but eventually progressed to other genres. Akshay was later joined by
Shadaab who had a similar taste in music. Later on they were joined by Kuber. They have been making music ever since trying
to combine different and weird genres together. They don't like to be termed as a project with any one specific genre. They
just try and make music that they think has a story behind it and which definitely gets their feet tapping.
