PRACHIR commented about the concept of the music video:
We do live shows at various colleges in our state and country, and have found out that consuming drugs is the most common factor among all the students. We have witnessed that lots of our friends have been victim to drugs. Releasing the potential danger of drug abuse we, in our little ways had put an effort to put across the message to ‘stop taking drugs’ to all our friends, fans and followers in the country through our song titled “PORICHOY( Identity/ self realization)”.
We were already happy to know that people have started liking our songs as we hear them echoing their voices with the lyrics of the song in our live concerts.
However, we didn’t want to sit back and just be happy knowing that our song is getting popular. We would like to do something more, something effective, to send across our message to the people very clearly.
We thought of a video of the song (PORICHOY), so the audio visual medium gives a clear message against drug abuse to the youth and create a huge impact in their mind.
PORICHOY, the music video comes off from the bands previous album. The clip was directed by Sharadwat Majumdar and the audio engineering duties was performed by Chetan Verma. The music video was shot at Prachir Rehearsal Studio(Sound Check) and local streets of North Kolkata.
