Sharktooth Unplugged will be a platform for bands to not only perform but also talk about their music. Bands will be able to interact with their fans during the performance, share stories and if they wish even jam with members of the audience.
While people are slowly starting to appreciate bands' original music in India, the fundamental element for people to actually buy into music is to be aware of it. Given that the venue for these gigs is intimate and calls for an interaction between the bands and the audience, we believe that a platform such as this will have more and more people becoming aware of the contemporary original music that is being composed by bands with India.
Sharktooth Unplugged aims not only to create awareness about bands and their music but also start a cultural movement that demands an increase of live performances.
As of now, Shartooth Unplugged will be restricted to the city of Mumbai. If the response is good, we will be taking this format to cities where Mocha is present.

Sharktooth Unplugged is being initiated with the objective to revive the live music scene in the city of Mumbai. While there is a sprinkling of large shows that happen in the city, Sharktooth Unplugged will be a regular feature that will take place at Mocha, the coffee shop, and have bands singing their original numbers.
