After two decades of his guitar-sound being the signature sound of the band, Susmit Sen now brings out his first solo album – DEPTHS OF THE OCEAN, an album that reflects his personal belief that music on its own can bring out and express the inner most emotions. The seven tracks are vintage Susmit featuring his trademark guitar work and incredible collaborations with classical vocalist Shubha Mudgal, Nitin Malik - lead singer of the band PARIKRAMA, Assamese sensation - Papon, his late band-mate Asheem Chakravarty and Sari Roy - who has come back to sing after more than two decades. The album reconnects to the mesmerising instrumental, melancholic, almost wordless sound of the initial days of the band which made them a cult in the first place. DEPTHS OF THE OCEAN leaves you curiously content yet wanting for more.
