Guwahati city which is quickly converting to Rock City with lots of Gigs is helping the local scene a lot to get exposure and present their talent in front of  music lovers. One of such gig is ROCKA ROLLA PUB ROCK organized by Rocka Rolla Café who organize Pub Rock shows every month at the city’s finest venue Blues.

On 5th September Rocka Rolla Café had its 49th Pub Rock Show, they made a special sandwich with many ingredients who had five smashing bands of various genres at one place which made the crowded venue frantic. The warmest evening started with Alternative Experimental band D’LUZION who gave startling performance with their three originals namely HEY YOU, ALL OVER AGAIN and ALL ABOUT and two covers viz ROCKSTAR by NICKELBACK and SHE HATES ME by PUDDLE OF MUDD, the second band is B.O.M.B, a metalcore outfit from Guwahati who coerceded the audience to bang their heads, they played two covers viz CONFINED by AS I LAY DYING and  MY LAST SERENADE by KILLSWITCH ENGAGE followed by Dy365’s Rock hunt competition winner AGNOSTIC, a progressive Death Metal band from Guwahati who made the crowd shout with their four originals PSYCHOTIC MISSION OF DEATH, ACRESIA, SATANIC VISION and HORRIFIC OBSESSION. AXIS, a Classic Rock band from Guwahati who performed after them gave a storming performance by playing covers like JUMP and WE WILL ROCK YOU by evergreen idols VAN HALEN and QUEEN and finished their part with their original FEEL THE BEAT. The fifth and the last band which was also the headlining act of the evening GIRISH PRADHAN AND THE CHRONICLES from Gangtok  gave a staggering recital which made the crowd punch in the air with ROCK 'N' ROLL by LED ZEPPLIN, BLACK NIGHT and SMOKE ON WATER by DEEP PURPLE and CRYIN by AEROSMITH, the show was ended with GIRISH PRADHAN AND THE CHRONICLES original composition ANGEL.

ROCKA ROLLA PUB ROCK on 5th September, 2010 was breathtaking event. The venue turnout was 150 people approx and was packed.
