UK’s premier Extreme Metal antagonist, CRADLE OF FILTH, has revealed the track list and artwork for the band’s upcoming CD/DVD mini-album entitled, EVERMORE DARKLY.... The follow-on from last year’s, DARKLY, DARKLY, VENUS AVERSA, will hit stores in North America on 18th October through NUCLEAR BLAST RECORDS. Artwork comes courtesy of Natalie Shau, whom also contributed the cover art for DARKLY, DARKLY, VENUS AVERSA.
ARCH/MATHEOS, the new Progressive Rock band featuring FATE WARNING/OSI guitarist Jim Matheos and former FATES WARNING singer John Arch, has released the first single off the group's upcoming full-length debut, SYMPATHETIC RESONANCE.

For all of those ANTHRAX fans who have been waiting for the band to finally release new music, FIGHT 'EM 'TIL YOU CAN'T, the first track available from the upcoming album WORSHIP MUSIC, has just gone on sale at iTunes. WORSHIP MUSIC is the first new studio album from ANTHRAX in eight years, and the first with vocalist Joey Belladonna since 1990's PERSISTENCE OF TIME. What a way for the band to celebrate its 30th anniversary.
THE ENEMY, a brand new song from New York Hardcore band VISION OF DISORDER (a.k.a. V.O.D.) can be streamed below. According to guitarist Matt Baumbach, the track will appear on what will be V.O.D.'s next release "once we figure out what the best option will be for it to come out." He added, "We may just do a self-release at this point. This track is a good example of the style of the record so that's why we picked it first." Other working songtitles that are set to appear on V.O.D.'s next release include HARD TIMES, ANNIHILATOR and BE UP ON IT.
WORSHIP MUSIC, the long-overdue new album from ANTHRAX will be released on 13th September through MEGAFORCE RECORDS (one day earlier internationally through NUCLEAR BLAST RECORDS).

Metal Hammer Golden God Award winners DEMONIC RESURRECTION from India return to the UK for their 'Conquering UK' tour. The band will be making their UK debut at the prestigious Sonisphere Festival held at Knebworth from 8th-10th July featuring the big 4 METALLICA, SLAYER, MEGADETH and ANTHRAX as well as SLIPKNOT, OPETH and many other bands. DEMONIC RESURRECTION will follow up their Sonisphere performance with a series of club dates around the UK.
Californian Blues/Hard Rock band RIVAL SONS are among the latest bands to be confirmed for this year's UK edition of Sonisphere, which takes place in Knebworth from 8th - 10th July.

MEGADETH are gearing up to record their as-yet-untitled new album with producer Johnny Karkazis (MACHINE HEAD, DISTURBED). The album is slated for a fall 2011 release through ROADRUNNER RECORDS, with drum tracking due to begin next week at Vic's GARAGE STUDIOS in San Marcos, operated by band leader Dave Mustaine. Johnny K replaces Andy Sneap (NEVERMORE) behind the board, who was forced to pull out due to scheduling conflicts.
DEMONIC RESURRECTION has released a 7 part blog series titled 'The Quest For The Heavy Metal Hamburger' on their youtube channel. The vblog series documents the bands trip to Norway in 2010 where they played at the Inferno Metal Festival. It also includes performance footage from the festival and features prominent Hardcore band SCRIBE from India as well. The blog ends with the band feasting on the 'Heavy Metal Hambuger' at the Elm Street Cafe in Oslo which is quite popular with the people who visit Inferno Festival in Norway. In more recent news DEMONIC RESURRECTION has been confirmed to perform at Sonisphere Festival in the UK this July where the Big 4 METALLICA, MEGADETH, ANTHRAX and SLAYER are headlining.
