DESPISED EXISTENCE, a brand new track from South Florida-based female-fronted Extreme Metal band WYKKED WYTCH, can be streamed using the SoundCloud player below. Florida-based Death Metal band CANNIBAL CORPSE have begun recording their twelfth studio album at SONIC RANCH STUDIOS in Texas with producer Erik Rutan. The band has spent months writing the album and has recorded at SONIC RANCH STUDIOS in the past, but never with Rutan at the helm. More details on the album, including art, songs, title and more will be revealed in the months to follow. For now, the band is hard at work forging their next death metal offering.

Jamey Jasta of HATEBREED and KINGDOM OF SORROW released his debut solo album, simply titled JASTA, on 26th July via EONE MUSIC. The CD, which was made available in Europe one day earlier through CENTURY MEDIA RECORDS, is now available for streaming in its entirety at Aol Music.

San Diego-based Brutal Death Metal band PATHOLOGY have completed work on their new album, AWAKEN TO THE SUFFERING, for a 13th September release. The CD was recorded at LAMBESIS STUDIOS (owned by AS I LAY DYING vocalist Tim Lambesis) in the band's hometown with producer Daniel Castleman (IMPENDING DOOM, AS I LAY DYING, WINDS OF PLAGUE). This will be PATHOLOGY's first CD to feature the group's new lineup, including vocalist Jonathan Huber and second guitarist Kevin Schwartz, who have spent time on the road with their new bandmates during recent U.S. and European tours with DEICIDE and OBITUARY.

LAKE ABLAZE, the new music video from Florida-based Extreme Metal veterans HATE ETERNAL can be viewed below. The clip was directed by David Brodsky, who has previously worked with AS I LAY DYING, SUICIDE SILENCE, KATAKALYSM, THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER and STRAPPING YOUNG LAD among others. The song comes off the band's latest album, PHOENIX AMONGST THE ASHES, which sold around 1,400 copies in the United States in its first week of release. The CD landed at position No. 14 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.
