Swadhyay, a Contemporary/Alternative Rock band hailing from Guwahati, Assam will be releasing their debut single titled Maa at the end of May month. This song will be a tribute to every mother and also to their mother-land, Assam. Maa is recorded and mastered at Noisegate Studio, Guwahati.

I haven’t said this often, but Indus Creed’s Evolve has been such an absolute pleasure to listen to, that I almost feel like thanking them, for this is not just a comeback album from the folks who gave India its first all-original Rock album almost quarter of a century ago, but a lesson in writing not just Rock, but any original music.
Mumbai based Indie band COLABA POINT has released their new album MILDLY IDYLLIC today. The songs on the new album are inspired by a range of topics - from traffic jams and Anna Hazare’s campaign last year to existentialism and fancy dinners. The band’s earlier self titled album released last year comprised mostly of impromptu jams and was recorded live on a portable audio recorder. The album generated quite an amount of interest amongst the small audience it was exposed to with one of the songs CERTAIN DAYS being featured on ennui.bomb’s STUPIDDITIES V compilation. On the basis of these recordings, COLABA POINT was also one of the 5 featured bands from Mumbai on SoundCloud local Mumbai edition on the popular music sharing website. They have so far managed to get over 2200 followers on the website without any real promotion or live gigs.
BLEK, a Mumbai based Grunge/Alternative Rock trio have been making news ever since their debut EP, HEXES+DRAMA AND OTHER REASONS FOR EVACUATION saw the light of the day. The EP was released under ENNUI.BOMB RECORDS on the 14th of February and is being followed by an extensive promotion tour, the 4-city North-East leg of which has just got done. IndianMusicRevolution got together with BLEK and Rishu Singh to get a cubic vision of their notable plunge in the Indian Music scene.
