I have always had huge respect for the metalheads in Iran, even though they live under an oppressive government which condemns Metal among other things which it considers “Blasphemous” and “Modern” they still have the passion for Metal and willing to pursue it despite the fact that they might go to jail or worse end up dead, our problems regarding Metal seem to be quite small compared to theirs. But then the fact that they can’t pursue their passion freely and do not have proper facilities for a metal concert or recording does effect their music negatively, unfortunately ARSAMES suffers from this problem.
