British Hard Rock band URIAH HEEP will release their 23rd studio album, INTO THE WILD on 15th April 2011 in Europe and 3rd May 2011 in North America via FRONTIER RECORDS. The CD was produced by Mike Paxman(STATUS QUO, ASIA) and the cover artwork was designed by the renowned Greek-American artist Ioannis (LYNYRD SKYNYRD, STYX, SAGA).

Co-Vocalist of the British Crust Punk/Grindcore band EXTREME NOISE TERROR's Phil Vane , reportedly passed away last Thursday (February 17) at the age of 46. Although no official cause of death has yet been released, it is rumored that he died in his sleep.

Los Angeles, USA Thrash Metal band WARBRINGER have announced the addition of drummer Carlos Cruz(HEXEN) to the group.

Irish Pagan Metal band PRIMORDIAL have revealed the artwork and tracklisting for their upcoming album, REDEMPTION AT THE PURITANS HAND, due on 26th April 2011 via METAL BLADE RECORDS.

Norwegian Black/Thrash Metal band SARKE featuring Sarke(real name: Thomas Bergli; KHOLD, TULUS, OLD MANS CHILD, SENSA ANIMA) and Nocturno Culto(DARKTHRONE), will release its sophomore album, OLDARHIAN on 15th April 2011 via INDIE RECORDINGS.

Ralf Van Der Horst, the guitarist has left Den Bosch, Netherlands-based Thrash/Death Metal band PERSISTENCE(a contraction of the words "to persist" and "intense"). The rest of the band will not seek a replacement and will continue as a four-piece.

Brazilian Metal band ECLIPTYKA wil release their debut album, A TALE OF DECADENCE in March via DIE HARD RECORDS. The CD was recorded at MARK STUDIO and features guest appearances on vocals by Marcelo Carvalho (HATEFUL) and Danilo Herbert (MINDFLOW). The artwork was designed by João Duarte (ANGRA, HANGAR).

Dutch Metal band STATE:CHAOS featuring former members of CALLENISH CIRCLE and DESENTISISED will release its debut album, CHAOS|PAIN|DESPAIR on 7th March 2011 via THE BRITISH LABEL CASKET MUSIC. The CD was recorded by Hans Reinders at PIT STUDIOS and was mixed and mastered by Jochem Jacobs(TEXTURES). The cover artwork was designed by HELLBORN DESIGN.

"STATE:CHAOS music is a mid-to-fast-paced adventure, with many elements from the modern Scandinavian Death Metal and the older Bay Area Thrash Metal working well together. Finnish Death Metal band CORPSET have inked a deal with VIOLENT JOURNEY RECORDS. The band's debut album, RUINS is scheduled for release on 27th April 2011. The CD was recorded at various facilities - from professional studios to a horse ranch in the Finnish countryside - and was mixed and mastered at the COAL HOLE STUDIOS in Hämeenlinna with the group'a former bassist and studio pro Janne Tauriainen.
