Veterans of Indian Metal DEMONIC RESURRECTION completes 12 years as a band. Starting out in 2000 as a bunch of 17 year olds the band has come a long way since then with a career spanning over a decade, the band has released 3 albums and an EP. Their career highlights have been many, notably being featured on the Global Metal movie, signing to CANDLELIGHT RECORDS, winning the prestigious Metal Hammer Golden God Award, playing festivals like Inferno and Brutal Assault and most recently confirming for Bloodstock Festival in the UK.

North Carolina's DAYLIGHT DIES has issued the following update:
"On the new album front, we've now completed guitar leads, rhythms, drums and bass guitar and clean guitar are halfway done. We'll wrap everything up in early 2012 and hopefully have a clearer idea for a release date then. Our goal is the first half of 2012. We are thrilled with how everything is sounding so far."

American Black Metal outfit ABIGAIL WILLIAMS is putting the finishing touches on its new album, BECOMING, for a 24th January 2012 release via CANDLELIGHT RECORDS. The CD was recorded in various warehouses throughout Los Angeles with frontman Ken Sorceron handling the mixing, mastering, production and engineering duties for the entire album. The final track listing, album art and more will be unleashed in the weeks ahead as the record nears release.

ORANGE GOBLIN, the heavy-hitting British Metal band, has set A EULOGY FOR THE DAMNED as the title of its seventh album, due in early 2012 on CD and vinyl (including limited-edition "clear" vinyl via CANDLELIGHT RECORDS. The effort was recorded at THE ANIMAL FARM STUDIOS in London.

Norwegian Black Metal band 1349 will release their first-ever live DVD, HELLVETIA FIRE - THE OFFICIAL 1349 BOOTLEG, on 24th October via CANDLELIGHT RECORDS. The disc was filmed at Bikini Test La Chaux De Fonds in Switzerland in 2005 and features a special guest appearance by Tom G. Warrior (HELLHAMMER, CELTIC FROST, TRYPTIKON).

CANDLELIGHT RECORDS has announced the worldwide signing of Thrash Metal band RUMPELSTILTSKIN GRINDER. The Philadelphia-based band is already working on its new album, titled GHOSTMAKER, expected for release early spring 2012. The four-piece tested some of their new material via a string of regional shows this past weekend and expect to tour in support of the album once released.

THEY CALL ME BLACK DEVIL, the new music video from French Black Metal band GLORIOR BELLI, can be seen below. The song comes off the band's new album, THE GREAT SOUTHERN DARKNESS, which will be released in North America on 27th September.

REFORM PART III, the new music video from U.K.-based Experimental/Progressive Metal band XERATH can be seen below. The song comes off the band's latest album, II, which released this past May in North America via CANDLELIGHT RECORDS. The clip was shot in two locations - TERMINAL STUDIOS in London near Tower Bridge and a stone masons warehouse in Hampshire - and was directed by David Kenny of SHASH MEDIA.

CANDLELIGHT RECORDS has announced the signing of U.K Old-School Death Metal band THE ROTTED. The band's sophomore album was recorded earlier in the year at PARLOUR STUDIO with Russ Russell (NAPALM DEATH, DIMMU BORGIR, EVILE) once again at the helm.

Guitarist Dino Cazares of Los Angeles Metal band FEAR FACTORY has begun demoing material for the band's next album, tentatively due in early 2012. Assisting Dino during the sessions earlier today (Wednesday, 3rd August) at L.A.'s DOWNTOWN REHEARSAL STUDIOS was DEVOLVED drummer John Sankey.
