Florida-based Death Metal band SIX FEET UNDER are currently mixing their new album at AUDIOHAMMER STUDIOS in Sanford, Florida with producer Mark Lewis (THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, WHITECHAPEL, DEVILDRIVER, TRIVIUM). The band's frontman, Chris Barnes, writes on Twitter, "The new SIX FEET UNDER (CD) is sounding fucking unbelievable! [The] mix [is] almost done!"
Riverside, California-based Christian Death Metal band IMPENDING DOOM will release their fourth full-length album, BAPTIZED IN FILTH, on 13th March. The CD was produced by Andreas Magnusson (THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, THE FAMINE) and was mixed by Machine, who has previously worked with LAMB OF GOD, SUICIDE SILENCE and DEMON HUNTER, among others.
DEVILDRIVER, THE FACELESS, DYING FETUS, JOB FOR A COWBOY, 3 INCHES OF BLOOD and IMPENDING DOOM will join forces for the Metal Alliance Tour in March/April 2012.
SOULFLY has set ENSLAVED as the title of its eighth album, due on 13th March 2012 via ROADRUNNER RECORDS. The CD was recorded at TALLCAT STUDIOS in Phoenix, Arizona and was produced by Chris "Zeuss" Harris, the seasoned knob twiddler behind some of the most notable bands in Metal today, such as SHADOWS FALL, HATEBREED, THE RED CHORD and more. SOULFLY vocalist/guitarist Max Cavalera also shared production duties.
TRIGGER THE MASSACRE is a newly formed Metalcore/Deathcore band from Chandigarh. The mates are from different regions of India who met in a college campus. The members had a common thought in their mind to settle down in one band and they made it. After regrouping to it’s core line up, TRIGGER THE MASSACRE started playing together in a period of few weeks and took the Metal scene. The band’s music is influenced by various bands like LAMB OF GOD, WHITECHAPEL, AS I LAY DYING and DEVILDRIVER.

Knoxville, Tennessee Extreme Metal band WHITECHAPEL will release a new EP, RECORRUPTED on 8th November via METAL BLADE RECORDS. The effort features a brand new track titled SECTION 8, a cover of PANTERA's STRENGTH BEYOND STRENGTH, an acoustic version of END OF FLESH, and remixes of BREEDING VIOLENCE by BIG CHOCOLATE and THIS IS EXILE by Ben Weinman from THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN.
Athens, Ohio's SKELETONWITCH will release its new album, FOREVER ABOMINATION, on 11th October via PROSTHETIC RECORDS. The follow-up to 2009's BREATHING THE FIRE was recorded at a LOS ANGELES STUDIOS with producer Matt Hyde (SLAYER, MACHINE HEAD, KREATOR). The effort will include the track THE INFERNAL RESURRECTION, the demo version of which appears as the B-side on the final seven-inch of a limited-edition vinyl trilogy. This marks SKELETONWITCH's first recording with the group's new drummer, former DEMIRICOUS skin-pounder Dustin Boltjes.

The clip was directed by Nathan Cox, who has previously worked with MARILYN MANSON, DISTURBED, DEVILDRIVER and HIM, among many others. The track comes off the band's new album, THE BLACK CROWN, which is being released on 12th July via CENTURY MEDIA RECORDS. The CD was recorded with heavyweight producer Steve Evetts (THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN, EVERYTIME I DIE, HATEBREED) and features guest appearances by KORN singer Jonathan Davis and SUFFOCATION frontman Frank Mullen.
