JOSHISH released their new single last month. The song is called BETUKAY and it is their third official release. They had previously released two originals, the first one was HO SUBAH in 2007, they also released a video of the same in 2008 and then the second single was called STILL NOT TOO LATE, which was released in mid 2009. These songs were featured on several independent albums and created a lot of buzz amongst the followers of the band. BETUKAY has been released on all the major international portals including i-tunes, Amazon, Napster, CD Baby and more, making sure that their music has a global reach and it’s available for "Digital Download" at a very affordable price. They recorded the song partially at their home studio and the rest of it at EQ STUDIOS in Mumbai, then got it mixed and mastered by the well known producer, Zorran Mendosa from Auckland, NZ. The song revolves around the “Slavery Gets Shit Done” motto and it’s based on the untouched issues of Honor Killing, Racism and Casteism. The atypical sound of the song makes it harder to categorize into a genre and the band claims that this is just a tinge of their musical potentialities and the upcoming stuff would be more promising.
