GOD SEED, the Norwegian band featuring former GORGOROTH members King (Bass; real name: Tom Cato Visnes) and Gaahl (Vocals; real name: Kristian Espedal), has announced its new line-up.
Indian Metal veterans DEMONIC RESURRECTION have confirmed their performance at this years edition of Bloodstock Festival in the UK. The band will be joining an elaborate line-up including the lines of ALICE COOPER, BEHEMOTH, TESTAMENT, DIMMU BORGIR, NILE and many other Metal heavy weights.

SAVIA, the first-ever music video from SOEN - the project featuring Swedish drummer Martin Lopez (ex-OPETH, AMON AMARTH), bassist Steve DiGiorgio (SADUS, TESTAMENT, DEATH, ICED EARTH), vocalist Joel Ekelöf (WILLOWTREE), and guitarist Kim Platbarzdis - can be seen below. The clip was helmed by director Patric Ullaeus of REVOLVER FILM COMPANY, who has previously worked with DIMMU BORGIR, LACUNA COIL, IN FLAMES, SONIC SYNDICATE and KAMELOT, among others.

Norwegian Avantgarde Metal band BORKNAGAR have completed work on their new studio album with Jens Bogren at FASCINATION STREET STUDIOS (OPETH, PARADISE LOST, KATATONIA) in Örebro, Sweden. Entitled URD, the CD will be released on 26th March in Europe and 27th March in North America via CENTURY MEDIA RECORDS.

As a result, all of the band's previously announced shows between now and May 2012 have been canceled.

Greek/German Heavy Metal band MYSTIC PROPHECY will release their Seventh Album, RAVENLORD, on 25th November 2011 via MASSACRE RECORDS. The CD was recorded at PROPHECY MUSIC FACTORY STUDIOS with Singer/Producer Roberto Dimitri Liapakis (MYSTIC PROPHECY, SUICIDAL ANGELS, VALLEY'S EVE, INSIDEAD) and was mixed by Fredrik Nordström (DIMMU BORGIR, ARCH ENEMEY, IN FLAMES). The effort marks the recording debut of the band's new drummer, Claudio Sisto, who joined MYSTIC PROPHECY in June 2010. The Artwork was created by Jonas Kawalek, who previously with the group on their fifth album, SATANIC CURSES.

U.K Extreme Metal band ANAAL NATHRAKH - consisting of Mick Kenney and David Hunt - are currently working on the follow-up to PASSION, released earlier this year via CANDLELIGHT RECORDS.
JERUSALEM, the new album from Swedish Melodic Metal band ASTRAL DOORS, will be released in October. The CD, which will be made available as a jewelcase, digipack and on vinyl, was mixed by Daniel Bergstrand, who has previously worked with BEHEMOTH, MESHUGGAH, DIMMU BORGIR, STRAPPING YOUNG LAD and SOILWORK, among others. The cover art was designed by Mattias Eriksson and can be seen below.
