BLINDING WHITE NOISE: ILLUSION & CHAOS is the debut full-length from SKYHARBOR, the brainchild of friendly neighbourhood Djentleman, Keshav Dhar. Formerly under the moniker of HYDRODJENT, SKYHARBOR features collaborative effort from several big-wigs in the music industry: Daniel Tompkins (ex-TESSERACT), Marty Friedman (ex-MEGADETH), Sunnieth Revankar (BHAYANAK MAUT and PROVIDENCE) and fellow Djentstar, Vishal J. Singh (AMOGH SYMPHONY). The album is a ten track record, clocking roughly at 50 minutes.

VILDHJARTA, the septet Progressive Metal juggernaut from Hudiksval, Sweden, have finally come up with their debut album, MASSTADEN. VILDHJARTA, which means “wild heart” in Swedish, plays MESHUGGAH-esque Progressive Metal, with down-tuned and staccato riffing, harmonic progressions, and dual vocal assault to round it off; clean vocals? Sigh! Yes, of course [they are there], but thankfully lesser than you might find on your everyday Djent staple.

CHIMP SPANNER never lets you down – be it the musically diverse and rebellious AT THE DREAMS EDGE or the latest offering ALL ROADS LEAD HERE. As a listener, I always wanted and imagined music breaking the barriers of genre – how bands would one day come up with music that is just impossible to classify into a particular genre. Something that music lovers could just absorb, and find something new to savor with every listen, relate to their own taste.

After the bands formation in March 2008, ACRIMONY hailing from Bhopal is all set to release their debut E. P. titled – FALSE VACUUM. Known for its unique sound which can be best defined as Progressive Metal with ample influences of Indian Classical Music & Djent, ACRIMONY has established itself as one of the torch-bearers of Metal for the state of Madhya Pradesh. The album is title refers to a sub-theory of the theory of a 'Parallel Universe' i.e. “The False Vacuum Theory”.

Death Metal has really changed from what it was. Until today Death Metal was always something that was meant to be raw and thus had raw production. If you look at the Death Metal of the 80’s and 90’s, you would find this trait in almost every band, be it the really old "Doom" influenced bands like AUTOPSY(who have come up with a new album I believe) and ASPHYX to the faster, more popular bands like CANNIBAL CORPSE and SUFFOCATION. Today however a certain part of Death Metal seems to be going for the really slick, sonically rich production with bands likes THE FACELESS and our very own EXHUMATION, although I do find this a little to adapt to at times as this is something I am not used to, I do enjoy this genre and both THE FACELESS and EXHUMATION are two of my favourite bands, and now so is DISFIGURING THE GODDESS.

When PANTERA hit the scene with their COWBOYS FROM HELL album, they took everyone by surprise and created the most brutal, in your face music that a band could create. Thus inspiring some really visceral mosh pits. But most importantly they created the Groove Metal genre which back then was pretty extreme and was respected by Metal fans all over the globe. Today the genre has become has lost most of its extremity and become much more mainstream thanks to bands like CHIMAIRA, DEVILDRIVER and of course how can I forget the band that is plagiarized by almost every Indian Metal, Metalcore band LAMB OF GOD. Days of anger make music that is a throwback to the old forms of groove. Is it good? Well, let’s find out.

Bangalore Hardcore/Metalcore outfit FINAL SURRENDER is out with their second release, ST.SINNER, an EP featuring mere 3 tracks & offered as FREE DOWNLOAD to the fans.
