MURDER CONSTRUCT, the Los Angeles, California-based band featuring Travis Ryan (CATTLE DECAPITATION) on vocals, Leon del Muerte (EXHUMED, PHOBIA, IMPALED) on guitar and vocals, Kevin Fetus (FETUS EATERS, WATCH ME BURN) on guitar, Danny Walker (INTRONAUT, EXHUMED, UPHILL BATTLE) on drums, and Caleb Schneider (BAD ACID TRIP) on bass, has entered the studio to begin work on its full-length debut full-length for a mid-2012 release via RELAPSE RECORDS. The as-yet-untitled follow-up to the group's acclaimed self-titled EP is being tracked at ARCHITEUTHIS SOUND with engineer Sean Vahle and at TRENCH STUDIOS with John Haddad (ABYSMAL DAWN, EXHUMED, INTRONAUT). The mastering duties will be handled by Dan Randall (TOXIC HOLOCAUST, IMPALED, MAGRUDERGRIND) at MAMMOTH SOUND.

CHAOS RECORDS has announced the signing of reactivated Swedish Death Metal band MALFEITOR. The band will release the vinyl LP version of its new full-length album, DUM MORIOR ORIOR, during the first quarter of 2012.

New Orleans natives GOATWHORE are hard at work on the follow-up to their most successful album to date, CARVING OUT THE EYES OF DEAD. Once the band wraps up recording with Erik Rutan at MANA RECORDING STUDIOS in St. Petersburg, Florida, they will immediately hit the road for headlining shows starting in Tampa. From there, they will join the EXHUMED tour starting on 26th October in Gallup, New Mexico. Support on the trek will come from CEPHALIC CARNAGE and HAVOK.

Arizona grind-masters LANDMINE MARATHON have set GALLOWS as the title of their fourth album, due on 27th September via PROSTHETIC RECORDS. The CD was recorded by LANDMINE MARATHON guitarist Ryan Butler at ARCANE DIGITAL RECORDING STUDIOS (EXHUMED, NIGHTRAGE, MISERY INDEX, PHOBIA) and mastered by Dave Shirk at SONOROUS MASTERING. The album features the debut of the band's new drummer, Andy York.
