Funk/Alternative rockers from Chennai, FRANKS GOT THE FUNK, fool the listeners in many ways. Firstly, their logo is a skull wearing a hat and smoking a cigarette and no, it’s not a Slash influence. Nor is their music Hard Rock or Grunge. Second, it has a very dark, sinister look about it, which is contrasting to the music they make. 5 tracks and 23 minutes of your life is all FGTF takes of your time to drown you in delightful, melodious, harmonious ‘funk’isms. All this, through their debut album +HE NEX+ LEVEL.

Unseen Underground was started to encourage the Indian upcoming rock bands by providing them a platform to showcase their talents.
After the great success of Unseen Underground Pub Fests last year & Ragnarok'09 , Unseen Underground is planning to organise 40 pub shows in the financial year 2010-11 and going to include Delhi, Bangalore , Hyderabad , Kolkata & Guwahati also.
The following bands that are going to perform in Unseen Underground Pub Fest - VI which is held on 2nd May 2010.
Franks Got The Funk (Chennai), Spitfire (Bangalore), Escher’s Knot (Chennai) & Blind Image (Chennai).

Time: 7 pm onwards
Apart from this they have a plan to have shows throughout the year are as follows:
Delhi: 6 shows (Bimonthly starting from May 2010)
Bangalore: 6 shows (Bimonthly starting from June 2010)
Hyderabad: 6 shows (Bimonthly starting from June 2010)
Kolkata: 6 shows (Bimonthly starting from May 2010)
Guwahati: 6 shows (Bimonthly starting from June 2010)
Chennai: 10 shows (Monthly starting from May2010).
