So a couple of days ago LIMIT ZERO announced that Sunneith Revankar of BHAYANAK MAUT & PROVIDENCE is going to be doing vocals for their album, along with 2 guest vocalists. Two tracks on the album will feature guest vocalists, one being Siddharth Basrur (GODDESS GAGGED) and the other featuring Trevor Marks (TOXIC GRIND MACHINE) on vocals.

Jack Daniel’s Rock Awards(2011), India’s biggest and most prestigious annual rock awards show honouring original music produced during the preceding twelve months, is back with its seventh edition. The award ceremony is slated for February 2012, with build-up gigs starting in December 2011. A total of 15 awards, based on original music created in the year 2011 (1 October 2010 to 30 September 2011) will be presented at the ceremony. All Indian Rock bands and musicians who have produced original music in the period are eligible for nomination.

Indian Metal veterans DEMONIC RESURRECTION have posted pro quality footage of their performance from the "Independence Rock XXVI" festival held in Mumbai this year. The footage can be viewed on the DEMONIC RESURRECTION's Youtube Channel. 

India's only Humor Metal/Rock band WORKSHOP fronted by Demonstealer (DEMONIC RESURRECTION) had recently called it quits (read the facebook note: http://www.facebook.com/note.php?note_id=10150249809233588). The announcement came shortly after their bass player Riju Dasgupta of Horror Metal act ALBATROSS quit the band. The band has now announced their comeback gig on 8th January 2012 at the BlueFrog club in Mumbai. However no mention has been made of who the new bass player or lead guitarist is. Devesh Dayal from GODDESS GAGGED was last seen filling in the lead guitar spot in the band.

Heavy Metal cooking show Headbanger's Kitchen hosted by DEMONIC RESURRECTION frontman Demonstealer have released their 7th Episode featuring Mumbai's latest music sensation GODDESS GAGGED.

Indian Progressive/Post-Hardcore act GODDESS GAGGED are streaming their debut album RESURFACES in its entirety on their Official Website. 

GODDESS GAGGED. A name I’ve been particularly keeping a watch out for. I don’t want to compartmentalise their music but I see a plethora of sounds in their music- PORCUPINE TREE, KARNIVOOL, TEXTURES, OCEANSIZE and a good amount of Post-Hardcore influences, each an elite from its respective genre of music. It is pretty cool how the GODDESS GAGGED sound has been shaped from a variety of these influences. I have mentioned the names of artists along with a review of each track to give a flavour of the album.

A week ago Mumbai Metal band DEMONIC RESURRECTION announced an 'All-Star' show and invited entries from young upcoming bands for the opening slot. The gig is one of the pre-parties for Bacardi NH7 Weekender Festival and is being held on Saturday 5th November at the B69 Club in Mumbai. Over the course of the week the band revealed that the show would be opened by not one but two bands; VIZIA an upcoming Modern Metal band from Mumbai and ARIHANT, a Death Metal trio from Guwahati were selected from the demos received. The band also revealed the 'All-Star' list which features four bass players and nine singers as listed below.
