After nearly a month of negotiations, Banglore-based events' company, Overture India, has managed to get down Grammy-nominated American heavy metal band, Lamb Of God, to headline an event called `Summer Storm' in Bangalore, on May 15.

Rock In India, is an annual music festival organized by DNA Networks at the Palace Grounds in Bangalore. The first festival was held in 2008 with heavy metal bands Machine Head and Megadeth headlining. The venue layout of Rock In India is unique as the 2 stages are at 45 degrees to each other. The venue is divided into two sections, the concert area has a capacity of around 20,000 and a separate festival area.

Demonic Resurrection have revealed the cover artwork for their new album 'The Return To Darkness' on Youtube.

The artwork has been done by Xaay who has previously worked with the likes of Nile, Karl Sanders, Necrophagist and Behemoth. The album features 10 tracks of Demonic metal.

MOTHERJANE has been around for a while now. I heard MINDSTREET and fell in love with the song right away. And once I like a song, it has to go and on and on for the whole day. Sometimes it could go on for a few days. There comes a point in my day when I actually need the song like water and get cranky if I don't get it. Crazy I know, but that is what music can do to you, and good music at that. Hope all of you have experienced that at some point of time in your lives. Of course co existing with this is always the ever popular dullard music which just makes you want to pull your hair off. Bottom line, MOTHERJANE was a success with me from the very first minute. The crazy Indian zing in their music combined with some amazing progressive riffs makes it difficult for anyone to dislike their music.

NILE will be entering MANA RECORDING in TAMPA, FLORIDA on 8th June to work on their forthcoming second album for NUCLEAR BLAST RECORDS. NEIL KERNON will serve as producer while ERIK RUTAN will engineer the effort.

Lucidrecess Alternative Rock/metal band from Guwahati released their E.P Carved on 18th December 2007. The EP has 7 songs and is recorded at Lucid Recess Studio, Guwahati.

Presently, the CDs will be available at various outlets in Guwahati only. Band will try to send CDs to other places. The price of the CD is Rs. 100 and it comes with a 4 page inlay with lyrics and photos. Initially, Band will print 200 copies.
