One man Juggernaut, Ben Sharp, the brains behind Cloudkicker plans to release the next album, titled “Subsume” come September 14th. What started as a Modern Prog Metal mean-machine, Cloudkicker expanded its soundscape towards a conventional post-rock sound, with the last full-length album, “Fade”. Coshish's 'Firdous' Among iTunes India Top 10 Most Downloaded Albums; Band Tour Announced

Mumbai based progressive rock band Coshish’s debut album ‘Firdous’ has made it among the top 10 most downloaded albums on iTunes India. ‘Firdous’ is one of the few albums by an Indian independent band which has been sold out on Infibeam, WebMall India, Landmark online and has also set a milestone for pre-orders on FlipKart. The album has been released under the Universal Music India label which has previously released albums by other critically acclaimed artists and bands including Euphoria, Rabbi Shergill, Lesle Lewis, Jal The Band and Indus Creed.

Metal act hailing from Kerala, The Down Troddence (TDT) are all set to launch their debut album titled, "How Are You? We Are Fine Thank You". The Album title is a symbolic portrayal of the ‘Authority’  asking out of pseudo concern (How are you?) and the satiric reply of the common man (We are fine, Thank you) out of resigned helplessness. Themes of their songs revolve around perspectives of people in the society who feel oppressed and hemmed by obstacles the authority pits against them.

Indian metal veterans Demonic Resurrection have announced their first date for their 2014 UK/Europe Tour. The band will be making an appearance at Scotland's award winning festival Les-Fest. The third edition of this festival will see the band perform on the main stage on Friday 27th June 2014. Other acts confirmed for Les-Fest include Scared Mother Tongue, Cypher16, Revoker and Falling Red.

Navi Mumbai based progressive rock band Eternal December has launched their latest single "Prelude." In addition, they have also launched a promotional interview directed by Ankush Singh featuring guitarist Shrikant Sreenivasan of the Mumbai based progressive rock band Coshish--Shrikant has contributed a guest solo to "Prelude."

Five-piece nu-metal band Anthracite from Mumbai, India, has launched their official music video for song ‘Inner Voice’ from their debut album ‘Groove Sandwich’. Check out the music video below!


The band has no expectations in particular, but hopes the video garners some attention.


Anthracite recently played Aaargh Bombay Asylum’s ‘The Rot Pack’ with extreme metal bands Reptilian Death and Gutslit and Reverrse Polarity’s debut album launch at Blue Frog last Sunday, 1st September, with Reverrse Polarity, Goddess Gagged and Petrichor. The band is also looking forward to playing more gigs in the near future.
