South Carolina-based Extreme Technical Death Metal band Nile have issued the following update:
"We are extremely sad to inform this to our fans in India that our tour of India has been called off as the visas for three of the members were refused by the Indian embassy in Washington D.C. Two people in the travel party were granted the visas in Houston and in Athens, but the rest were not - for reasons that none of us know.

The reigning king of technical, historically-themed brutality, NILE, has announced a 3rd July release date for its upcoming studio album, AT THE GATE OF SETHU. The follow-up to NILE’s latest state of the Death Metal art release, THOSE WHOM THE GODS DETEST (2009), will once again be released via NUCLEAR BLAST RECORDS. Neil Kernon (CANNIBAL CORPSE, MACABRE) handled production duties for NILE’s seventh full-length.

DECIMATE THE ANCESTERY OF THE ONLY GOD, a brand new track from Italian Death Metal band HOUR OF PENANCE, can be streamed below. The track comes off the band's fifth album, SEDITION, which will be released on 27th March in North America, 2nd April in the U.K and 6th April in mainland Europe via PROSTHETIC RECORDS. The follow-up to 2010's PARADOGMA (UNIQUE LEADER RECORDS) was recorded at CELLAR STUDIO in Rome with producer Stefano Morabito.

American Death Metal giants, NILE have been recently confirmed for a 2 city tour of India. This is NILE's first tour of India and we hope to see a great response from the metal heads all over the country.

Indian Metal veterans DEMONIC RESURRECTION have confirmed their performance at this years edition of Bloodstock Festival in the UK. The band will be joining an elaborate line-up including the lines of ALICE COOPER, BEHEMOTH, TESTAMENT, DIMMU BORGIR, NILE and many other Metal heavy weights.

Long-running Italian Metal band GORY BLISTER have set EARTHSICK as the title of their fourth album.

REDEMPTION, the U.S Progressive Metal band featuring in its ranks legendary FATES WARNING vocalist Ray Alder and guitarist/songwriter Nick van Dyk, has completed work on its new album, THIS MORTAL COIL, with producer Neil Kernon, who has previously worked with such acts as NEVERMORE, NILE, QUEENSRYCHE and DEICIDE. The CD will feature the following working songtitles, among others: NOONDAY DEVIL, NO TICKETS TO THE FUNERAL, RAIN IN MY SOUL, FOCUS, DREAMS FOR THE PIT, PATH OF THE TORNADO, BLINK OF AN EYE, PERFECT and DEPARTURE OF THE PALE HORSE.

San Diego's PATHOLOGY has entered LAMBESIS STUDIOS (owned by AS I LAY DYING vocalist Tim Lambesis) in the band's hometown with producer Daniel Castleman (IMPENDING DOOM, AS I LAY DYING, WINDS OF PLAGUE) to begin recording its new album for a fall release. This will be PATHOLOGY's first CD to feature the group's new lineup, including vocalist Jonathan Huber and second guitarist Kevin Schwartz, who have spent time on the road with their new bandmates during recent U.S. and European tours with DEICIDE and OBITUARY.
