TONIGHT, the first single from SLOW DOWN CLOWN's upcoming debut album, is song about laughing in the face of life's constant fuck-ups. It's about knowing how the world works and moving beyond it. The song is about a yearning that never ever goes away. Hints of WATCHTOWER mixed with NIRVANA's numbness that blows into a sunshine chorus, are all elements that go together to set this song apart from what the band has put out before it.

CURL OF THE BURL, the new music video from Atlanta Progressive Metal band MASTODON, can be seen below. Drummer Brann Dailor came up with the concept for the clip, which was helmed by director Roboshobo (a.k.a. Robert Schober; METALLICA's ALL NIGHTMARE LONG), who previously worked with MASTODON on the DIVINATIONS and SLEEPING GIANT videos.

ON THE BACK OF ANGELS, a brand new song from Progressive Metal giants DREAM THEATER, is available for streaming at the ROADRUNNER RECORDS YouTube Channel. The track comes off the band's new album, A DRAMATIC TURN OF EVENTS, which is scheduled for release on 13th September via ROADRUNNER RECORDS. The CD was mixed by Andy Wallace, who has previously worked with AVENGED SEVENFOLD, WHITE ZOMBIE, RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE, SEPULTURA, SLAYER and NIRVANA, among many others.

Progressive Metal giants DREAM THEATER have tapped Andy Wallace (AVENGED SEVENFOLD, WHITE ZOMBIE, RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE, SEPULTURA, SLAYER, NIRVANA) to mix their new album, tentatively due in September via ROADRUNNER RECORDS. The band's keyboardist, Jordan Rudess, said, "We are all Really excited to have [Andy's] magic touch!"
