Deadly Remains is from Northern California. The band came into existence in the fall of 2006. They produced and released an eight track demo called "Moral Crusade" in 2008. In fall of 2009, Deadly Remains released "Before The Nothing" (once again recorded/mixed/mastered at NB Recording Studios), featuring artwork by Jon Zig as well as improved songwriting, musicianship, and better production.

The band toured the Pacific Northwest (CA, OR, WA, ID, UT, LV) on this release. Over the past two years Deadly Remains has played shows in theater halls, clubs, bars, warehouses, homes, back yards, and everything in between. They have made numerous appearances at festival type shows all over California and Nevada, and have had the privilege of sharing the stage with notable bands such as Napalm Death, Kataklysm, Toxic Holocaust, Flesh Consumed, Sepsism, Colonize the Rotting, Septycal Gorge, Cerebral Incubation, Condemned, Embryonic Devourment, Putrid Pile, Arkaik, Pathology, Inherit Disease and Vulvectomy.

Abominable Putridity-The Anomalies Of Artificial Origin http://www.indianmusicrevolution.com/international/reviews/Abominable-Putridity-The-Anomalies-Of-Artificial-Origin.html http://www.indianmusicrevolution.com/international/reviews/Abominable-Putridity-The-Anomalies-Of-Artificial-Origin.html Abominable Putridity-The Anomalies Of Artificial Origin

ABOMINABLE PUTRIDITY, producing some bone-crushing Slam Death Metal since the 90's. The newest addition would be Matti Way (ex-DISGORGE and PATHOLOGY). Matti Way would definitely be one of my very favorites and after hearing their disastrous debut in 2007, I was not expecting much from them. But Matti Way took all the misconceptions away from my mind. The moment his voice kicks in, you know you definitely want to hear them.

For a start, Matti Way’s signature low growls are far more entertaining than the dull Wayne Knupp plagiarism found on the first album. The slams are not varied, but they are very heavy and don’t become particularly slow to bore you. The artwork done by Par Olofsson, a Swedish artist, who has done works for bands like BRAINDRILL, ABYSSMAL DAWN, CENOTAPH, DEEDS OF FLESH, INSIDIOUS DECREPANCY, DISAVOWED etc.

The instrumentation in this album is more than predictable slam stuff. There is a lot of neat and intricate timing going on to give it a powerful groove.

Reviewing each song individually would not make any sense, as they pretty much sound all the same, not very surprising for a Slam Death Metal album. The guitar riffing is one of the thing that would set this album apart from the others. Most of the guitar works are really awesome and coherent slam and brutal death stuff, with the occasional bass solo. There are some weird core influenced riffs here, though that does not discount for the fact that the album is a success. It’s got all the element that slams should have : Solid slam riffing, sick breakdowns, carefully placed pinch harmonics and raw Matti Way vocals.

THE ANOMALIES OF ARTIFICIAL ORIGIN is a pretty solid offering. Not blowing me away and definitely not ABOMINABLE PUTRIDITY at it’s best, but definitely finding it’s way in my playlist. Slammers should definitely get high listening to this.

Pathology Begins Recording New Album http://www.indianmusicrevolution.com/international/recent-news/Pathology-Begins-Recording-New-Album.html http://www.indianmusicrevolution.com/international/recent-news/Pathology-Begins-Recording-New-Album.html

San Diego's PATHOLOGY has entered LAMBESIS STUDIOS (owned by AS I LAY DYING vocalist Tim Lambesis) in the band's hometown with producer Daniel Castleman (IMPENDING DOOM, AS I LAY DYING, WINDS OF PLAGUE) to begin recording its new album for a fall release. This will be PATHOLOGY's first CD to feature the group's new lineup, including vocalist Jonathan Huber and second guitarist Kevin Schwartz, who have spent time on the road with their new bandmates during recent U.S. and European tours with DEICIDE and OBITUARY.

"I'm very excited to be back in the studio," states drummer Dave Astor. "Producer Daniel Castleman has done some of the best and heavy recordings out there. This will be the tightest and heaviest recording we have ever done. The new material we wrote is more thought out and way more brutal then anything that we have ever written. We're doing the same brutal music as we have always done. We just made the breakdowns heavier, the fast parts faster, and the slow parts slower."

PATHOLOGY's next U.S. tour - as the support act for GRAVE and BLOOD RED THRONE - will kick off on 30th August.

2010 was a volatile year for PATHOLOGY. While it saw the band releasing its VICTORY RECORDS debut, LEGACY OF THE ANCIENTS, and doing three tours (alongside NILE, IMMOLATION/VADER and DESTROYER 666), the group was plagued by a rotation of fill-in singers and ultimately a horrible van accident that derailed the band from continuing.

Since that tragic event 10th November, the guys have been putting things back in order. In addition to a new van, trailer and gear, PATHOLOGY has also enlisted a new full-time vocalist to replace original voice Matti Way, who was unable to tour with the band. Jonathan Huber, formerly of I DECLARE WAR, has taken over duties as frontman for PATHOLOGY. In addition to his stellar vocal capabilities, Jonathan proved to have the right attitude and presence that won him the spot. The band has also welcomed back guitarist Tim Tiszczenko, who stepped down midway through the touring cycle. Tim joins his replacement guitarist Kevin Schwartz for a dual-guitar assault. Both guitar players have also been writing new material in the downtime, bringing a whole new level of intensity to the band.

Commented Dave Astor(Drummer):
"The writing process for the new album is going very smooth. The new songs are some of the heaviest stuff we have ever written."

"We are all thrilled to be working with producer Daniel Castleman at LAMBESIS STUDIOS here in San Diego. I am a fan of all his recordings and feel his skills will bring our sound to where it needs to be."

Gorgasm-Orgy Of Murder http://www.indianmusicrevolution.com/international/reviews/Gorgasm-Orgy-Of-Murder.html http://www.indianmusicrevolution.com/international/reviews/Gorgasm-Orgy-Of-Murder.html

GorgasmOrgyOfMurderReview
With a name like GORGASM and an album called ORGY OF MURDER, it’s pretty obvious that you are not going to hear soft romantic love songs, so if you are the type who likes romantic music that you can listen to with your girlfriend I suggest you go to Michael Bubles Myspace page. Now as far as everyone else is concerned keep reading below and you might find something worth listening to, especially all you Brutal Death Metal fans.

GORGASM is a four piece from Indiana, USA consisting of Damian “Tom” Leski(Guitar/Vocals), Kyle Christman(Drums), Anthony Voight(Bass/Vocals) and Ryan Saylor(Guitars). GORGASM’s sound is a return to the nineties reminding me of an era when Scott Burns ruled Death Metal, their sound is very raw unlike other Brutal Death Metal today like DEVOURMENT and PATHOLOGY and reminded me of two of the ground-breaking Death Metal bands from that time CANNIBAL CORPSE and SUFFOCATION. Like SUFFOCATION their sound is a good mix of technicality and brutality, in fact in the song EXHIBIT OF REPUNGANCE there is a riff in the end that could almost pass of as SUFFOCATION and like CANNIBAL CORPSE technicality here is not done for technicality’s sake like so many bands today like NECROPHAGIST and BRAINDRILL but make the song more intense and ofcourse the lyrics. How can we forget the lyrics which CC have been the inspiration for not only for this band, but for the entire Brutal Death Metal genre itself, its pretty clear from songs like AXE TO MOUTH, INFECTION INDUCED ERECTION, DECAPITATION SODOMY and CUM INSIDE THE CARCASS.

Well other than that all I can say is…BANG YOUR FUCKING HEAD! This is a killer Death Metal album that is fast intense and completely real and is a breath of fresh air from all of the technical wankery that is going in Death Metal these days. This album made me realise what Death Metal is all about, its not about playing the maximum number of notes in minimum time, it's not about how many polyrhythms you can pull off in a three minute song. Its being loud , being intense and it’s about melting the faces of your audience. And only a true Death Metal band can do that this album gets a from me a well-deserved totally brutal score of 8/10.

"I'm very honored and feel very privileged to now be a part of the PATHOLOGY family," stated Jonathan. "After being a fan of theirs for three years, being in the band is pretty surreal. I look forward to touring and recording with the band, and thank them for this opportunity."

In addition, the band has welcomed back guitarist Tim Tiszczenko, who stepped down midway through the touring cycle. Tim joins his replacement guitarist Kevin Schwartz for a dual-guitar assault. Both guitar players have also been writing new material in the downtime, bringing a whole new level of intensity to the band.

Drummer Dave Astor has this to say: "I am happy to have Tim back in the band. He is a big part of the PATHOLOGY sound. He's had time to reconsider and is fully committed now. It's the right thing. I'm excited to be working with him again."
