Transylvania, Romania based Groove/Death Metal band Loudrage announce the title and tracklist for their upcoming album. Bloody Grooves, the band's long awaited debut full-length is set for a late 2012. Considered as a combination of old Sepultura, Grave, Obituary with strong influences from Six Feet Under or Debauchery, Loudrage decided to include 10 new tracks on their debut album.

Brazilian/American Thrash Metal band SEPULTURA have announced the addition of drummer Eloy Casagrande to their arsenal of world-class musicians, replacing Jean Dolabella as the band's full-time percussionist.

SOULFLY has completed recording its new studio album for an early 2012 release via ROADRUNNER RECORDS. The CD was recorded at with producer Chris "Zeuss" Harris, who has previously worked with CHIMAIRA, HATEBREED, ALL THAT REMAINS, THE ACACIA STRAIN, BORN OF OSIRIS and SHADOWS FALL, among others. The band's new drummer, David Kinkade (BORKNAGAR, ARSIS, MALEVOLENT CREATION), described the group's new material on his Facebook page as "crushing, fast thrash, blasting, tribal and fueled by extreme burrito fury. The record is sounding fucking sick. Thrashy as fuck...totally ARISE [referring to SEPULTURA's classic 1991 album] on crack and speed."

Thrash Metal of the 1980's was one of the best and continues to be one of the most respected scenes in the Metal community. Whether it was the complexity of METALLICA, the speed of SLAYER, or the acerbity of EXODUS, this subgenre kept underground Metal alive during the nauseating Hair Metal trend. Even acts outside the U.S, like Brazil's SEPULTURA and Germany's KREATOR, were instrumental in establishing thrash to its fans.

REBORN IN DEFIANCE, the long-awaited new studio album from New York Hardcore/Metal legends BIOHAZARD, will be released on 20th January 2012. The CD will be made a vailable via NUCLEAR BLAST RECORDS outside of North America, with a U.S label partner soon to be announced. The band will celebrate the launch with a record-release party in its hometown of Brooklyn, New York before setting off on an extensive international tour.

São Paulo, Brazil-based Thrash Metal band MUSICA DIABLO have parted ways with SEPULTURA singer Derrick Green.

LAKE ABLAZE, the new music video from Florida-based Extreme Metal veterans HATE ETERNAL can be viewed below. The clip was directed by David Brodsky, who has previously worked with AS I LAY DYING, SUICIDE SILENCE, KATAKALYSM, THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER and STRAPPING YOUNG LAD among others. The song comes off the band's latest album, PHOENIX AMONGST THE ASHES, which sold around 1,400 copies in the United States in its first week of release. The CD landed at position No. 14 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.
