After a highly successful run of European festivals and select club shows, Swedish Melodic Metal band SOILWORK have started writing music for the follow-up to 2010's THE PANIC BROADCAST.
Swedish Black Metal act NAGLFAR have completed work on their sixth album, TERAS, for a March 2012 release via CENTURY MEDIA RECORDS. The drum tracks on the CD were laid down by Dirk Verbeuren (SOILWORK).
Washington D.C based Metal band DARKEST HOUR have parted ways with drummer Ryan Parrish and have temporarily replaced him with Timothy Java (DEAD TO FALL). The band states, "Tim did an amazing job on our recent European tour with MACHINE HEAD. As for the future, that's open for discussion - no permanent decisions have been made in any way."
YOUR EVERYDAY DISASTER, the brand new music video from Washington D.C Metal band DARKEST HOUR, can be seen below. The song comes off the band's sixth album, THE HUMAN ROMANCE, which sold around 3,600 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 185 on The Billboard 200 chart. The CD landed at position No. 3 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.
LOST FOR NOTHING, the new music video from ICON IN ME - the Russian/Swedish/Danish Modern Metal band featuring HOSTILE BREED guitarist Dmitry Frans, Danish drummer Morten Løwe Sørensen (SUBMISSION, THE ARCANE ORDER, SCARVE, INSTANT CARNAGE, STRANGLER, SOILWORK) and Swedish vocalist Tony Jelencovich (M.A.N, ex-MNEMIC, TRANSPORT LEAGUE) - can be viewed below. According to Jelencovich, the timely clip represents "Money vs. Humans. It is sad to see the never-ending profit-before-everything-else mentality. It's cool that the video was filmed months ago and it ties in to the Occupy Wall Street movement."

JERUSALEM, the new album from Swedish Melodic Metal band ASTRAL DOORS, will be released in October. The CD, which will be made available as a jewelcase, digipack and on vinyl, was mixed by Daniel Bergstrand, who has previously worked with BEHEMOTH, MESHUGGAH, DIMMU BORGIR, STRAPPING YOUNG LAD and SOILWORK, among others.
