Veterans of Indian Metal DEMONIC RESURRECTION completes 12 years as a band. Starting out in 2000 as a bunch of 17 year olds the band has come a long way since then with a career spanning over a decade, the band has released 3 albums and an EP. Their career highlights have been many, notably being featured on the Global Metal movie, signing to CANDLELIGHT RECORDS, winning the prestigious Metal Hammer Golden God Award, playing festivals like Inferno and Brutal Assault and most recently confirming for Bloodstock Festival in the UK.

Indian Metallers DEMONIC RESURRECTION have inked a merchandising deal with OMERCH, a company set up by OPETH and their management to handle merchandise. The company boasts of an all-star roster including bands like OPETH, ENSLAVED, KATATONIA, TEXTURES and NEVERMORE, among other big metal bands. Indian metallers DEMONIC RESURRECTION have released their first guitar lesson video with lead guitarist Daniel Rego. The video is a lesson on how to play the song OMEGA, I and is the 1st in a 3 part series of the same. DEMONIC RESURRECTION are also planning to release more guitar lessons as well as drum lessons with drummer Viru in the coming months on their youtube channel Demonic Tube.

On 11th October 2010, Indian Metallers DEMONIC RESURRECTION announced ‘The Unrelenting Guitar Cover Contest’ inviting fans to upload a guitar cover of the song THE UNRELENTING SURGE OF VENGEANCE from the album THE RETURN TO DARKNESS which was released on DEMONSTEALER RECORDS in India and CANDELELIGHT RECORDS Worldwide. After many requests from fans the band has extended and expanded the contest.

IMR: Greetings DEMONSTEALER! Thank you very much for accepting this interview with the IndianMusicRevolution. First and foremost, I would like to congratulate you guys for making it to INFERNO FESTIVAL and also signing up CANDLELIGHT RECORDS for the worldwide distribution of your latest album. So, how was it to bring the bands 10th anniversary with such a style in Norway?
DEMONSTEALER: It was an amazing experience. It’s been a dream to play at the INFERNO FESTIVAL and the whole experience was surreal, not just our performance but experiencing the festival, getting to watch some of the bands you’ve been inspired by and checking out some new acts. This was also the first time any of us were going anywhere in Europe so we really had a blast.
