Abiotic Begins Recording Debut Album

South Florida's Abiotic entered Sonic Assault Studios in Cape Coral, Florida on 23rd April with producer Charles J and engineer Phil Pluskota to begin recording its debut album for a late 2012 release via Metal Blade Records. The cover artwork for the CD will be created by Daniel McBride.

South Carolina-based Extreme Technical Death Metal band Nile will release their seventh full-length album, At The Gate Of Sethu, in Europe on 29th June and in the U.S on 3rd July via Nuclear Blast Records. The follow-up to 2009's Those Whom The Gods Detest was once again produced and mixed by Neil Kernon, who has previously worked with Nevermore, Cannibal Corpse, Queensryche and Deicide, among many others. The CD artwork was handled by a true genius of darkened visuals, Seth Siro Anton (Soilwork, Paradise Lost, Septicflesh).
South Carolina-based Extreme Technical Death Metal band Nile have issued the following update:
"We are extremely sad to inform this to our fans in India that our tour of India has been called off as the visas for three of the members were refused by the Indian embassy in Washington D.C. Two people in the travel party were granted the visas in Houston and in Athens, but the rest were not - for reasons that none of us know.

Death Metal veterans SIX FEET UNDER will release their new album, UNDEAD, in May via METAL BLADE RECORDS. The CD was mixed at AUDIOHAMMER STUDIOS in Sanford, Florida with producer Mark Lewis (THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, WHITECHAPEL, DEVILDRIVER, TRIVIUM).
Italian Technical Death Metal band GORY BLISTER will release their long-awaited new album, EARTH-SICK, on 23rd April via BAKERTEAM RECORDS. The follow-up to 2009's GRAVEYARD OF ANGELS contains ten brand-new Technical and Brutal Death Metal tracks in the signature style that has always identified the band over the past 20 years. The CD also features NILE frontman Karl Sanders who guests on two tracks, including SOUL-BORNE MALADIES, which can be streamed in the YouTube clip below.
Swedish Technical Death Metal band SPAWN OF POSSESSION will release their third full-length album, INCURSO, in North America on 13th March via RELAPSE RECORDS. The CD, which will contain nine tracks plus an Instrumental intro, was recorded at PAMA STUDIOS in Kristianopel, Sweden with engineer Magnus "Mankan" Sedenberg.
The second trailer for THE INHERITED REPRESSION, the fifth studio album from Australian Technical Death Metal band PSYCROPTIC, can be seen below. The CD will be released on 7th February in North America and 10th February in Europe via NUCLEAR BLAST RECORDS.
