Florida-based Death Metal band SIX FEET UNDER are currently mixing their new album at AUDIOHAMMER STUDIOS in Sanford, Florida with producer Mark Lewis (THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, WHITECHAPEL, DEVILDRIVER, TRIVIUM). The band's frontman, Chris Barnes, writes on Twitter, "The new SIX FEET UNDER (CD) is sounding fucking unbelievable! [The] mix [is] almost done!"

Knoxville, Tennessee based Extreme Metal band WHITECHAPEL have entered AUDIOHAMMER STUDIOS in Sanford, Florida with producer Mark Lewis (THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, WHITECHAPEL, DEVILDRIVER, TRIVIUM) to begin recording their fourth full-length album for a summer release via METAL BLADE RECORDS.

U.K Progressive Metal band TESSERACT are working on an acoustic EP, tentatively titled PERSPECTIVE, for a spring release via CENTURY MEDIA RECORDS. The effort will contain reworked versions of tracks from the band's debut album, ONE, plus "a very special" cover version.

WILLOWTIP RECORDS has officially signed Sydney, Australia Atmospheric Death Metal band BEYOND TERROR BEYOND GRACE. The label will release the band's newest album, NADIR, on 3rd April 2012. Recorded and mixed by Joel Taylor (THE ABANDONMENT, ENCIRCLING SEA) at THREE PHASE STUDIOS in Melbourne, Australia over only two weeks in May 2011, NADIR captures a band completely in its natural element, defying genre categorization and ignoring all current musical trends. The artwork and layout was created by Colin Marks (NEVERMORE, ALL SHALL PERISH, WHITECHAPEL, STRAPPING YOUNG LAD) and can be previewed at the band's Facebook page.

DEAD THRONE, the new album from the Dayton, Ohio Christian Metalcore band THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA, can be streamed in its entirety at www.deadthrone.com. Due in the U.S. on 13th September via FERRET MUSIC and one day earlier internationally through ROADRUNNER RECORDS, the follow-up to 2009's critically acclaimed WITH ROOTS ABOVE AND BRANCHES BELOW was recorded at ZING STUDIOS in Massachusetts with producer Adam Dutkiewicz (KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, TIMES OF GRACE). Additional synth/key production was handled by Joey Sturgis (who has worked on all of the THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA records so far) with further assistance on the vocal production by Jeremy McKinnon (A DAY TO REMEMBER).

Italian Symphonic Death Metal act FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE has premiered the debut music video from the band’s impending release, AGONY, for the song, THE VIOLATION. The new video, which was directed by Salvatore Perrone, and can be seen below.

Dutch Thrash Metal band NUESTROS DERECHOS are currently recording their first full-length album at BUNT'S STUDIOS in Utrecht, Netherlands. The band has already completed laying down the drums for all 12 tracks and is now recording guitars, bass and vocals. Mixing will be done in the month of August.

Knoxville, Tennessee based American Deathcore band WHITECHAPEL have recently added the bands new track titled REPROGRAMMED TO HATE on the bands MySpace page.

Thrash Metal veterans DEATH ANGEL are all set to release their new studio album entitled RELENTLESS RETRIBUTION which is scheduled to hit the stores on 3rd September 2010 in Europe and 14th September 2010 via NUCLEAR BLAST RECORDS.

DAY OF MORNING is the title cut of DESPISED ICON's new album, which is scheduled for release on 22nd September via CENTURY MEDIA RECORDS. The CD was produced by Yannick St-Amand, while the mixing duties were handled by Chris "Zeuss" Harris (HATEBREED, THE ACACIA STRAIN, WHITECHAPEL) in Massachusetts. The whole thing was mastered by Alan Douches (MASTODON, THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN, NILE).
