Cheisrah New Track 2012

Bangalore based Experimental/Progressive Metal act Cheisrah released their latest single titled To The Subliminal from their upcoming debut album on the band's SounCloud page. The track is available for "free download" as well at Mediafire website. The band had recently unveiled their fresh new logo (Cyber Tree India) and a bunch of crisp new band photographs (Dev Ambardekar).

The Safety Fire is a London based 5-piece Progressive Metal act, featuring Sean McWeeny on vocals, Joaquin Ardiles and Derya Nagle on guitar duties, and Lori Peri and Calvin Smith on bass and drums, respectively. Grind the Ocean is the band’s 2nd release and 1st full-length following 2009’s Sections (E.P).

BLINDING WHITE NOISE: ILLUSION & CHAOS is the debut full-length from SKYHARBOR, the brainchild of friendly neighbourhood Djentleman, Keshav Dhar. Formerly under the moniker of HYDRODJENT, SKYHARBOR features collaborative effort from several big-wigs in the music industry: Daniel Tompkins (ex-TESSERACT), Marty Friedman (ex-MEGADETH), Sunnieth Revankar (BHAYANAK MAUT and PROVIDENCE) and fellow Djentstar, Vishal J. Singh (AMOGH SYMPHONY). The album is a ten track record, clocking roughly at 50 minutes.

Limit Zero Updates 2012

DEVOID OF DREAMS, one of the Guwahati's most fresh Metal acts are scheduled to release their new singles MARCH OF CHAOS and WHERE THE GODS FEAR TO TREAD on cyberspace this April. This is without a doubt the band’s most ambitious work till date and will feature the newest addition to their band, Chinmoy Kalita on Vocals. The songs are packed with a strong Nu-age feel that evokes futuristic imagery, of sorts and highlights their ability to flawlessly merge their love for Death Metal, Progressive Metal and other far-fetched forms like Hindustani Classical music.

PETRICHOR, a Mumbai based Extreme Progressive Metal band released their first single DISSONANCE on their SoundCloud page. The EP will be released sometime in the month of April.

VILDHJARTA, the septet Progressive Metal juggernaut from Hudiksval, Sweden, have finally come up with their debut album, MASSTADEN. VILDHJARTA, which means “wild heart” in Swedish, plays MESHUGGAH-esque Progressive Metal, with down-tuned and staccato riffing, harmonic progressions, and dual vocal assault to round it off; clean vocals? Sigh! Yes, of course [they are there], but thankfully lesser than you might find on your everyday Djent staple.

Incorporating "jewish" and "arabic" influences into their lyrical landscaping - the band are the pioneers of the middle-eastern Progressive Metal genre. The striking factor lies in the fact that the band fuses traditional middle-eastern instruments with modern guitars and drums to create a completely different yet melodic sound.The band has a unique stage presence as well. With traditional jewish, muslim and christian attires, the band sends a strong message of religious harmony not just through their costumes but also their lyrical themes.

Burn The_Water_Debut_Album

Formed in early 2011, BURN THE WATER is a solo Metal project from Siliguri, West Bengal formed by Debojyoti. Started out with creating experimental tunes influenced by "Devin Townsend", the band started working on its debut E. P. with an aim to gather underground artists from across the world.

The french seem to be on ‘baffle the world’ mode ! First with UNEVEN STRUCTURE (Progressive Metal, Djent) and now with ALCEST , France has indeed given us music to savor.
